Where We Started

The original Tailored Living logo and brand identity was in dire need of intentionality with its creative choices, thus presenting huge opportunities for design exploration. The holding container of the logo is meant to represent the organizational and modular aspect of the company’s product, while the color choices aims to reinforce feelings of calm within the consumer.

Creative Explorations

With the complete brand overhaul, the client emphasized that the new identity should reinforce key brand attributes that are central to the company. Those attributes were as follows:

Elegant

Approachable

Modular

Bespoke

Elevated

Calm

Each of the creative directions aimed to encompass multiple brand attributes to varying degrees. I explored many concepts that were distinctly unique from one another in order to address all client concerns and showcase potential directions for the brand.

Final Execution

The final logo itself is relatively minimal, with the mark representing a modular closet as well as the letter “T”. A bespoke logo type accompanies the mark, emphasizing the customizable yet elegant storage solutions offered by the brand. Lastly, we selected an overall muted and earthy color palette with a primary deep blue to achieve a sense of elevated and dignified calm.
